I am so glad I made the decision to get up and play a few tunes in Edinburgh, because it ended up leading to this album and time spent among top class musicians.
I am grateful to Leonard for his drive; to take an initial curiosity and exchange of music and turn it into an album.
It has been an absolute privilege to play music and spend time with Caty, Leonard and Maaike.
In particular, I have loved the way they approach folk music with a sense of freedom and fune. I hope you enjoy listening to it because I sure as hell enjoyed making it!
